Soon, residents in a number of towns in Nebraska and Iowa will be able to order beer along with their pizza when they order from Pizza Hut.
On Monday, the pizza giant announced the second expansion of their beer delivery program to nearly 300 restaurants across Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio by mid-January. Pizza Hut is aiming to grow beer delivery capabilities to 1,000 restaurants across new markets by Summer 2019. In December 2017, Pizza Hut launched its beer delivery pilot program in Arizona and expanded to parts of California five months later.
Pizza Hut will offer the beer delivery service in Beatrice, Columbus, Grand Island and Norfolk, but not Omaha or Lincoln yet. The stores will offer Bud Light, Busch Light and Budweiser with their pizzas at a price tag of $3 to $5 for a 2-pack, and up to $11 for a 6-pack.
In Iowa, the service is available in Carroll, Centerville, Cherokee, Ida Grove, Knoxville, Mount Pleasant, Perry, Spencer, Washington and Winterset.
Drivers will check ID's to make sure the purchaser is of age.
