Missing Persons Case Reclassified As Homicide

Omaha’s most recent homicide numbers reflect 22 murders in 2018, and the department says that most recent number comes after they reclassified Camisha Hollis’s disappearance as a homicide now.

The missing mother of three disappeared in April of this year, but her body has not yet been discovered. The decision to reclassify her case comes within the last week as it is now being investigated as a homicide.

Hollis' longtime, live-in boyfriend, 36 year old Marvin Young, was arrested on three counts of Child Abuse By Neglect-No Serious Injury, three counts of Domestic Disturbing the Peace and Criminal Mischief Under $500 for damage that occurred to an Omaha Police Department interview room.

The investigation into Hollis’s death is ongoing, and police encourage anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP.
