Home Invasion Leads To Two Arrests

Omaha Police have arrested two people after a home invasion robbery near 40th and Grand Avenue Wednesday morning.

Captain Mark Matuza says officers arrived at the home around 10:30 after getting reports that two armed men forced their way inside.

"About 40 minutes later we were able to get some information on the suspect's vehicle where they ran to after the robbery."

He credits neighbors who saw them running to the car for providing a description.  An officer on patrol spotted the car and officers were able to pull it over around 11:15.  Police say items found in the car are believed to be from the home invasion.

No one in the home was injured.
