OPS Employee Placed On Leave After Reported Inappropriate Contact

A maintenance employee at Norris Jr. High School has been placed on administrative leave after a report of inappropriate contact he allegedly had with a student.

OPS officials say other students witnessed that contact and reported the incident to staff. Child Protective Services were notified of the incident and it is being investigated. The district says the employee has, according to protocol, been placed on leave.

The employee's name and the date of the incident was not released.
