A judge has denied bond for Gregory Sedlacek, a metro elementary school teacher, accused of sexually assaulting a child, this as the scope of the case widened with his admission of more victims.
Sedlacek made his first appearance in court Wednesday morning where a prosecutor said the defendant had given detectives a list of girls with whom he said he had sexual contact. They included students at the Pine Ridge reservation and at Sacred Heart School.
The charge that put him in jail stemmed from an alleged incident with a seven year old student at Fontenelle Elementary School where Sedlacek has been working as a first grade teacher. He was placed on leave at the time of his arrest this week.
In the Fontenelle case, Sedlacek has been charged with two counts of First Degree Sexual Assault on a Child.
