Authorities say two people aboard a small plane on a flight out of Omaha survived a crash in Georgia overnight. The plane went down on the campus of Kennesaw State University north of Atlanta.
Video from the scene appears to show that the plane crashed into a tree with investigators saying it appears to be due to engine failure.
The two people aboard were not immediately identified but police said they were both conscious and alert. It’s not yet clear if they are from Omaha or had just flown out of here.
