Owners of 2018 and 2019 Honda Odyssey vans can expect a recall notice soon. An estimated 108,000 vans sold in the U.S. are being recalled due to a problem with the power door rear latch. The latch can stick and that prevents the door from closing properly. There is a possibility the door could open when the vehicle is moving.
Repairs can be done at Honda dealers but there is currently a shortage of replacement parts. They expect to have more in stock by the end of December. The door can be operated manually with no problem so owners can disable the power close option.
