An arrest has been made in the Monday night shooting of a 25 year old woman.
Omaha Police say on Tuesday, investigators arrested 43 year old Bruce Lewis in connection to the midtown Omaha shooting of Makayla Murry. Officers responded to the area of 38th Avenue and Frances just after 11:30 Monday night to investigate a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived they located Murry outside of a home. She was transported to Nebraska Medicine in critical condition and her injuries are now considered non-life threatening.
Lewis was booked on charges of Felony Assault and Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance.
