The Sarpy County Prosecutor's Office will not file charges in an accidental shooting death last month.
Bellevue police were called to a Scarborough Drive apartment complex on October 5th and found that 26 year old Eric Niedbalski had been shot in the shoulder. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Witnesses told police that 27 year old Benjamin Morrison was cleaning a handgun when it accidentally went off.
Prosecutors say there is no evidence of criminal wrongdoing and charges will not be filed against Morrison. If additional information surfaces that could change.
