Omaha police say one woman has died following a crash near 48th Ave. and Y Street Saturday night.
Investigators say it happened just after 8 p.m. when a 2002 Chrysler 300 sedan traveling south on 48th Ave. sideswiped a northbound 2009 Dodge Challenger.
The Chrysler kept going south until it crossed through the Y Street intersection and left the road, striking a fence post and a tree.
Police say 41 year old Stephanie Osborne was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to Nebraska Medicine where she later died of her injuries.
Police are still investigating the accident.
