Several people have been arrested in connection to the murder of 42 year old Stacy Talbot on October 18th near 14th and Hartley Street in Lincoln.
Just after 2 a.m. on Friday, 27 year old James Howard of Lincoln was arrested in Leon County, Texas. A warrant had been issued by Lincoln Police for his arrest as an accessory to a class 1 felony.
Lincoln Police were notified today that 32 year old James Wilson and 34 year old Sherry Thomas, both of Lincoln, were arrested in Clovis, New Mexico. A felony arrest warrant had been issued for both and they were wanted for attempt of a class 4 felony that was part of the death investigation.
Lincoln Police expressed their appreciation for the work of the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, the U.S. Marshals Service and law enforcement partners in Texas and New Mexico for their assistance.
In a news release, Lincoln Police state, "The thoughts of our agency remain with the family of Stacy Talbot."
