Teen Charged In Burke High Stabbing Charged As Adult

The 16-year-old accused of stabbing a fellow student at Burke High School earlier this month has been releaed from the hospital and booked into the Douglas County Youth Center.

Nicholas Cisar is being charged as an adult for Felony First-Degree Assault and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.

The incident happened on Oct. 9 as school was about to be dismissed for the day. Police say that Cisar stabbed 15 year old Lacey Paige in the stomach and back.  She was listed in fair condition on Tuesday, two weeks after the attack in basement of the school.

Cisar then cut himself leading to critical injuries.
