Frost Sets Sights On Second Win Of The Season

The Huskers are heading into the game born of a lightning storm this weekend and Coach Scott Frost says, "I think they're ready."

Bethune-Cookman brings some Wildcat football to Memorial Stadium Saturday in a game that wasn't even supposed to happen. The Cats were added after the Akron Zips were zapped from the schedule by a stormy September 1st season opener.

Thursday, Frost said they hope to build on the momentum of last weekend's 53-28 win over Minnesota with Ohio State waiting a week down the road in Columbus. "Doesn't matter who we're playing, our standard stays the same. It doesn't matter if we're playing Ohio State or Bethune-Cookman we need to be at our best and we need to play better than we did last week."

As for this week, Frost said Thursday's practice was, "far and away the best one we've had on a Thursday, today, so I think they've responded well. We got them recovered a little bit physically and they know this, they know the game plan and I think they're ready."

Saturday's kickoff is 11:00 A.M on the Big Ten Network.
