Bond was set at $2,500 Tuesday morning for a 70 year old grandmother accused of pepper spraying two of her grandchildren.
Sarpy County investigators say Nancy Knipp used the spray on her nine and eleven year old grandchildren at her home near 135th and Josephine Sunday. Knipp was booked on a felony child abuse charge.
Court records indicate an ongoing dispute between Knipp and her daughter over visitation of grandchildren. A status check of the case is scheduled for December. Documents show that Knipp was awarded visitation rights despite objection of the children's mother.
Knipp has a preliminary hearing scheduled for November 20th.
