There were frightening moments for the son of Governor Pete Ricketts Sunday night.
Omaha Police are investigating the armed robbery of 19 year old son Roscoe Ricketts.
According to Omaha Police, 19 year old Roscoe Ricketts was the robbed at gunpoint near Fairacres Road and Underwood Avenue just after 9:00. Roscoe told police that he had been walking in the area when he was robbed. the suspect reportedly got away with Roscoe's cell phone and some phone accessories.
Governor Ricketts issued a statement saying:
"Roscoe was not harmed and is in good spirits. Thank you to the Omaha Police Department for their professional response. Susanne, the family, and I are grateful for their work.”
