The Nebraska Liquor Commission on Wednesday denied a liquor license for a bikini bar at 72nd and Blondo.
The voted to deny the license for the proposed bikini bar called "Candyland." Several neighbors, business owners and parents were against the business opening.
The owner agreed to change the name to "Kandi's" to avoid confusion with the board game Candyland. He also said they would not allow private dances, which was the original plan.
The liquor commission still voted against the license.
