Suspect In Weekend Shooting Turns Himself In

The man accused of killing 21 year old Devon Theisen over the weekend has turned himself in to authorities.

Council Bluffs Police say around 11:00 Monday morning, 69 year old Kenneth Still turned himself in at the Pottawattamie County Court House. He was then processed and transported to the Pottawattamie County Jail and booked on the charge of First Degree Murder.

Just before 3:00 on Sunday,  officers were called to a home near Pierce and Park Ave for a shooting. Officers arrived and found Theisen on the front porch with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head.  Witnesses told officers at the scene that the victim had been involved in a disturbance with Still.

The witnesses say at some point Still grabbed a shot gun inside the residence and fired one round, striking Theisen in the head. Still then fled the scene in a Nissan Xterra. Theisen was transported by ambulance to the Nebraska Medicine where he died from his injuries.
