The Sarpy County Sheriff's Department is investigating an accidental shooting that left a man dead on Saturday.
Deputies were called to an apartment complex on Scarborough Dr. around 5 p.m. The person who called 911 reported that a male had been shot inside the apartment.
Authorities said two more males in their 20's were in the apartment at the time of the shooting. The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for a single gunshot wound where he later died. His name was not released.
The investigation is ongoing.
