Drone Expo At SAC & Aerospace Museum

Drones will be everywhere at the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum near Ashland today.

The Drone Expo gets underway at 10 a.m. with outdoor racing demonstrations, indoor flight safety presentations, booths and a hands-on workshop for kids.

Those workshops will take place throughout the day.  Visitors can learn how to program a Ryze Tello drone or learn to fly one.  The workshops are free and open to the public for students in grades 4 through 12.  Paid admission is required.

The Lincoln Drone Racing Club will provide demonstrations.  Johnson Helicopter Services will also be offering rides for a fee.

The Museum will also hold a cook-out and a free concert in their back parking lot from noon until 2 p.m.
