To pay homage to Santa Lucia, the patron saint of sight, the Santa Lucia Festival Committee is hosting an ice cream social for the community.
Committee members say the event will include ice cream, all the toppings you can imagine and face painting. The event is free of charge, but they will be accepting goodwill donations which will go to the Omaha Association of the Blind.
The ice cream social will be held on Sunday afternoon at the Santa Lucia Hall on 7th and Pierce from 1:30 to 4:30. You can find more details here.
