A 20 year old man is facing several charges after leaving behind a trail of destruction in a Lincoln neighborhood. Lincoln Police say just before 11:30 Saturday night, officers were called out for a hit and run crash near 9th and M Street.
It was reported that a black Chevrolet Tahoe hit multiple parked vehicles, causing over $14,500 in damage and left the area. Officers followed a gouge in the street left by the Tahoe as it continued to drive with only three wheels.
The Tahoe was found just south of 6th and L Street. Witnesses reported that a male driver and female passenger exited the Tahoe and ran to a nearby bench where they sat down. The driver, 20 year old Drake Kann was located and cited for multiple offenses. The charges include Second Offense DUI-Aggravated, Driving While Revoked, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Minor in Possession, Possession of a Fake ID, No Insurance and Open Container.
