One person was taken into custody Monday morning after a standoff with law enforcement in Carter Lake.
Police were called to a home near 11th and Avenue K around 6:00 where a man was said to be inside, armed with a gun. The man inside the residence reportedly refused to come out.
A negotiator was requested and eventually one person was taken into custody around 7:15. Police confirm there is no threat to the public.
