Three Killed In Western Iowa Crash

Three people have died following a Western Iowa crash on Sunday. 

Iowa State Patrol officials say that 80 year old Richard Van Zee, of Rock Valley, drove off of I-29 in Harrison County, crossed the median and hit two other vehicles traveling south near Little Sioux. Van Zee's car sideswiped one vehicle and then hit a pickup truck.

Richard Van Zee and 77 year old Mary Ann Van Zee were killed in the crash. A person in the back seat of the pickup, 65 year old Elizabeth Cobbs, of Knightstown, Indiana, also died. The driver of the pickup and another passenger were injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
