A 36 year old Omaha woman is recovering after being shot in the neck outside an Omaha convenience store around 9:00 Sunday night.
Investigators say Tanya Leffler was inside a van outside the B&T near Florence Blvd. and Miami Street when shots were fired. Police say surveillance video shows someone hanging around outside the store and fleeing on foot after Leffler was shot.
Police are still investigating the incident and looking for whoever pulled the trigger. Anyone with information in this case is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP. A tip leading to the arrest of the shooting suspect is eligible for an enhanced $10,000 reward.
