The family of an Omaha Storm Chasers player is asking the public for help locating several items from his truck.
The family of Jonathan Dziedzic say the burglary happened at the Best Western Plus on South 108th St. on Friday morning sometime between 5:45 and 6:15. At the time of the burglary, the truck was being loaded with things to move, according to the family.
Thieves reportedly busted out the window of a truck and stole golf clubs, a Yeti cooler, four left-handed baseball clubs, training supplements, clothes and shoes. The thieves also got away with all of Dziedzic's Storm Chasers jerseys from past seasons, practice jerseys from Major League Spring training and commemorative hats.
The family says the memorabilia items are especially important.
A police report was filed, and anyone with information on the theft or on the whereabouts of the items should contact police.
