Multiple people were injured in a three vehicle crash at 60th and Sorensen. The accident happened just after 10:00 Thursday night.
Omaha Police say 83 year old Ernest Jensen, was westbound on Sorensen in a Lincoln MKZ, turning south onto 60th. As he was making the turn, an eastbound Nissan Pathfinder being followed by a GMC Envoy entered the intersection. The Lincoln hit the Nissan, spun and collided with the GMC. The GMC, driven by 34 year old Candis Snoddy, rolled and wound up on the southeast corner of the intersection.
Four people were transported to the hospital for treatment. Jensen was treated for a fractured hip, Candis Snoddy suffered a fractured ankle and three other occupants of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the Nissan, 36 year old Cairia Snoddy, was treated for aches and pains with five passengers in her vehicle suffering minor injuries.
Charges are pending against Jensen.
