Omaha Police say a 22 year old man wounded in a shooting last week has died. Keith Chambers was shot in the head near 20th and Bristol on August 23.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation around 2 a.m. When they arrived they located Chambers on the ground. He was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center where he died.
Omaha Police are still looking for the gunman. Anyone with information should contact the OPD homicide unit at 402-444-5656 or Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP. There is an enhanced reward of $25,000 for any tip that leads to the arrest of a homicide suspect.
