Hundreds Pay Their Respects To Mollie Tibbetts

Hundreds of people made their way to Brooklyn, Iowa to remember and pay their respects to slain University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon inside the gym of BGM High School, where the twenty-year-old attended school until her graduation in 2017. Bishop Thomas Zinkula of Davenport lead the funeral, with Tibbetts' father, cousin and one of her teachers speaking at the service.

Cristhian Bahena Rivera has been charged with First Degree Murder in connection to Tibbetts' death. The 24 year old Mexican farm worker was arrested Tuesday after leading investigators to the cornfield where he left Tibbetts' body after her July 18th disappearance. Rivera faces life in prison without the chance for parole if he's found guilty.
