Lincoln Police say a 21 year old man was arrested after crashing into a parked car and officers found drugs and paraphernalia in his vehicle.
Authorities say around 12:30 Monday morning, officers responded to the accident near 28th and Starr Street after a caller reported that the driver appeared to be intoxicated. Officers found 21 year old David McIntyre, who told them that he hit a parked car.
McIntyre showed signs of impairment and had marijuana and paraphernalia on his passenger seat. Inside the vehicle, officers found three marijuana pipes, 195.7 grams of marijuana in five separate baggies, 73 grams of edible marijuana brownies, six packages of shatter THC, Alprazolam (Xanax) pills, Hydroxyzine pills and $1,187 in cash.
McIntyre was arrested for DUI, Careless Driving, No Insurance and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
