UNL Frat Under Investigation After Alleged Hazing Incident

A UNL fraternity is under investigation after a reported hazing.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln officials say the mother of a potential pledge of the Delta Tau Delta filed the complaint. Officials confirmed that the student became ill after a weekend of drinking at the Delta Tau Delta chapter house as well as an off-campus site.

The complaint states that prospective fraternity members were forced to excessively drink alcohol for four days straight over the weekend of August 17th.

UNL's Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards and Delta Tau Delta's national organization are both investigating the complaint. The fraternity has not been suspended yet, but it has been stripped of its student housing designation, meaning freshmen members can't live in the frat's house.
