Funeral services have been scheduled for this weekend for Mollie Tibbetts.
A "Mass of the Resurrection for Mollie Tibbetts" will be held at 2:00 Sunday afternoon in the gym of the BGM High School in Brooklyn.
Mollie's body was found in an area of rural Poweshiek County, about five miles away from Brooklyn. She had been missing since July 18th. Cristhian Bahena Rivera has been held on a $5 million bond since Tuesday. He is being charged with First Degree Murder in the case.
Investigators say Rivera followed Mollie while she was on a jog the night of July 18th. He told investigators he approached her and ran along side her as she threatened to call police. Rivera says at that point he blacked out and when he came to, Mollie was dead in the trunk of his car. He then drove her body to a corn field and left it there.
