Former Omaha Community Playhouse Employee Arrested

A former employee of the Omaha Community Playhouse is accused of causing $300,000 damages at the playhouse at 69th and Cass last June.

33 year old Jeffrey Horger turned himself in on Friday.  Police were called to the theatre on June 19 to investigate a burglary.

Officers learned that an unknown individual had entered the business and took several items.  Officers also noticed that a large amount of damage was caused inside the building, which was later estimated to be around $300,000.

An investigation began and detectives obtained a warrant for the former employee.  Horger turned himself in around 5:30 Friday morning and was booked for burglary and criminal mischief.
