Business came to a crashing halt late Saturday morning at the Subway sandwich shop near 84th and Giles in LaVista.
Police say the driver of a black car slammed into the front of the business, shattering a glass window and damaging the brick wall near the front door. Police say no one inside at the time was injured. Police believe the driver may have been drinking are continuing to investigate.
The business was closed due to the structural damage that was done. The damage has been boarded up and there's no word on when it will reopen.
