Police Chief Explains Why Fireworks Season in Omaha is Too Long

The Omaha City Council will vote August 7th on an ordinance that would cut the number of days that fireworks can be sold and used in the city from 10 days to 5 days leading up to the 4th of July. Chief Schmaderer laid out some facts on how fireworks complaints are overwhelming the 911 system and pressures police resources.
