The Council Bluffs Parks and Recreation Department has re-opened the Tom Hanafan River’s Edge Park after flooding in late June.
Officials say floodwaters have receded, the Parks department has cleaned the park and it is ready for public use. The park can be accessed from River’s Edge Parkway on the East side of the levee.
The road leading from Harrah’s Casino into the park remains closed until further notice. The Rock on the River concert for July 21st will take place at Bayliss Park.
