A Lincoln teen is facing an assault charge after punching a police officer in the face.
Lincoln Police say on Wednesday, an officer was escorting a fourteen year old boy to a hospital room when the boy grew agitated. The teen then rushed towards the officer and tried to take his Taser.
The boy punched the officer in the face and a struggle ensued between the two. The teen then tried to bite the officer, before punching the officer in the nose again.
The teen was referred to the county attorney for a charge of Assault on a Police Officer.
