Two people are in the hospital after a South Omaha crash early Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to the scene near 30th and T streets around 1:45. Officials on scene told 6 News that the car hit a gas line, a sign and then slammed into a building.
Crews had to use the Jaws of Life to help the victims out of the wreckage. Medics took the passenger to the hospital with critical injuries. The driver suffered serious injuries.
MUD responded to the scene to shut off gas in the area. Police say alcohol and speed are considered factors.
