The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for portions of north central and northeastern Nebraska and south central and southeastern South Dakota until 10 p.m.
The primary threats include damaging wind of up to 70 mph and isolated large hail of up to one inch in diameter. Thunderstorms should increase in coverage and intensity along a slow moving front from north central Nebraska into southeastern South Dakota this afternoon.
This does not include the Omaha metro area.
