Games And Parks Unveil New Water Playground For Louisville Rec Area

Louisville State Recreation Area will soon have a floating playground! Nebraska State Games and Parks announced the news on Twitter Monday.

The floating playground is comprised of various inflatable components linked together like an obstacle course. Officials said park guests will get 90 minutes to slip and slide their way through: climbing, running, crawling, jumping.

Louisville State Recreation Area boasts five sandpit lakes with approximately 50 surface acres of water. The playground will be at Lake #2.

Installation is planned for this week. There’s no official word on when the grand opening will be but officials hope it will be open to the public sometime next week.
