The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect who stole a Nissan Altima from a Bennington neighborhood on Monday.
Deputies were called to the area of 155th Street and Military to investigate a car break-in. The victim said surveillance video captured a suspect rummage through his unlocked vehicle. The victim told investigators nothing was taken from the vehicle, but another neighbor was not so lucky.
Deputies learned that same suspect stole a dark blue 2013 Nissan Altima from across the street. Both incidents were recorded on a surveillance camera.
