A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at 52nd and Sorensen Parkway at 1:32 a.m. Saturday. The investigation shows a 2002 Toyota Camry was westbound on Sorensen Parkway when a man entered the street against the walk signal at 52nd Street.
29 year old Ramel Thompson Jr. of Omaha was rushed to a hospital with a lower leg and head injury. Both injuries are non-life threatening.
The driver of the Toyota is identified as 42 year old Tammy Hunter of Omaha. She was cited for DUI.
