One person has died following a shooting early Thursday morning.
Omaha Police are on the scene conducting a death investigation near 27th and St. Mary's Avenue. Authorities have confirmed a fatality to 6 News, but the nature of the shooting remains under investigation. Early reports indicate that the victim is a man in his late teens, who was found down behind the Jackson Tower.
Police were called to the scene around 4:30 and OPD’s Homicide Unit is on the scene.
