An arrest has been made in the stabbing death of a man on the 4th of July. Aldo Guizar was arrested Thursday and booked for Second Degree Murder and Use of Weapon to Commit a Felony.
Just after 10:04 Wednesday night, officers were called to 31st and Jackson Street to investigate a cutting. Once on the scene, officers located an adult male victim was then transported to Nebraska Medicine. The victim later died as a result of his injuries.
Police have not identified the victim pending family notification. The investigation is ongoing.
