Douglas County officials say a Yutan man was killed in a motorcycle crash late Tuesday night near 264th and West Center Road. The motorcyclist is identified as Ronald Rowland.
Investigators said Rowland was traveling westbound on West Center on his 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle around 10:15 p.m. when he collided with an eastbound 2012 Chevrolet pickup truck. The truck, driven by Tammy Cruishank, was pulling a horse trailer.
Rowland was pronounced dead at the scene. Cruishank was transported to UNMC by Valley Rescue. The circumstances that let up to the collision remains under investigation.
