Omaha Police say a 49 year old man was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle near Park Avenue and Pacific around 9:00 Tuesday night.
Investigators say Michael Hodd suffered a chest injury that is considered life-threatening when he was hit by a Chevy Trailblazer. Investigators say 40 year old John Flowers was driving the Trailblazer north on Park Avenue when Hodd crossed the street eastbound in an area not marked as a crosswalk.
The circumstances of the accident remain under investigation.
