Capital City Police are investigating after a political party office was vandalized early Tuesday morning.
Lincoln Police say shortly after 3:00, a newspaper delivery carrier notified police after finding the Nebraska Republican Party office near 16th and N had been vandalized. Once on the scene, officers located red bricks that had been thrown at the double pane window of the building, causing over $1200 in damage. The words “ABOLISH ICE” had also been spray painted on the cement in front of the broken window panels.
Officers are canvassing the area for witnesses or video surveillance and encourage anyone with information to call the Lincoln Police Department at 402-441-6000.
