Omaha Police say a woman has died following a two vehicle crash at 72nd and Sorensen Parkway late Sunday. She is identified as 85 year old Carol Sieborg.
The crash happened just before 11:00 in the intersection. Investigators say according to a witness a Huyndai Santa Fe driven by 70 year old Virginia Lemmons was eastbound on Sorensen with a green light. Her car struck a Huyndai Sonata driven by Sieborg, which was heading north on 72nd.
Police say Sieborg a red light. She was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Lemmons was not injured.
