Cass County authorities say a 31 year old Bellevue man has died following an electrical accident just before 5:00 Thursday afternoon
Fire and rescue presonnel were sent to the Omaha Fish and Wildlife Club after receiving a report that a man was unconscious and not breathing.
The sheriff's department says Justin Mason was operating a truck with a raised boom near a well house when power arced from an overhead line. The sheriff's office says witnesses told them that the boom didn't touch the line, but came close enough to cause an arc, which traveled through the truck and through Mason.
A witness started CPR, which was continued by paramedics. Mason was airlifted to an Omaha hospital where he died.
