Rising River Closes Haworth RV Park

As Missouri River levels continue to rise and flooding becomes a major concern, the City of Bellevue is evacuating the Haworth Park RV area.   Park Superintendent Brian Madison says they have issued a precautionary evacuation notice for the park and campers are asked to move out by 6:00 Tuesday night.

"The RV park will be under water and the parking lot of our marina is starting to get filled with water," Madison says.  Parks employees are also moving trash cans and picnic tables to higher ground.

All reservations at the RV Park will be refunded until the campground can re-open. Anyone with  questions can call 402-293-3122.

On Monday evening the City of Omaha closed N.P. Dodge Park because of rising water.  In Council Bluffs the main road leading into Tom Hanafan River's Edge Park has also been closed.
