A Monday afternoon crash involving four vehicles on Highway 50 at Schramm Road claimed the lives of two people and injured two others.
Sarpy County authorities say the preliminary investigation indicates that a White 2007 Buick Terraza was traveling northbound on Hwy 50 around 4:00, crossed the median and was struck by a southbound 2010 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up.
The drivers of the two other vehicles involved took evasive action and their vehicles sustained minor damage. The man driving the Buick and a woman who was his front seat passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene.
A five year old girl from that vehicle was taken to Nebraska Medicine in Omaha with unknown injuries. The woman driving of the Chevrolet was taken to Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
